Recently, scammers have sent text messages claiming your debit card is locked and asking you to call a number or click a link.

Do NOT respond. Delete the message and contact your local Citizens Alliance Bank branch for assistance.

Reporting Fraud: What to Do

Ask yourself these questions. If you answer “Yes” to any, you may be a victim of fraud:

  • Have you been instructed to wire, send, or ship money urgently?
  • Did you receive a payment with instructions to send funds back?
  • Were you told you are the winner of a lottery or prize you never entered?
  • Have you been asked to pay money to receive a payment from another country?
  • Did you respond to an email requesting account information?
  • Did you click on an internet pop-up or advertisement?
  • Have you received a payment for an item you sold online?

Steps to Take

  1. Contact Citizens Alliance Bank immediately at (844) 772-4258.
  2. File a report with your local police department.
  3. Place a fraud alert on your credit report:
